Character in Competition, LLC ("Character in Competition," "we," "us," or "our") provides a character-development program for girls in competitive sports. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through characterincompetition.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting our contact form, you agree to this policy.
Who this policy is for
The Site is intended for coaches, gym and program directors, administrators, and parents — adults exploring our program. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. (Information about how athlete assessments are handled within the program itself is provided separately to partner organizations; those assessments are designed to be anonymous.)

Information you provide
When you complete our contact form, we collect the details you choose to share, which may include your name, organization or studio, role, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message. Only your email address and message are required; the rest are optional.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically receive certain technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and general location (derived from your IP). This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies used by our analytics and security providers, described below.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss whether the program is a good fit for your team.
- To schedule and coordinate sessions if you choose to move forward.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and respond to you, and only as needed for those purposes:
- Objective Labs — processes and routes contact-form submissions to us (our form and inquiry-management provider).
- Cloudflare — provides website hosting/delivery and the "Turnstile" check that helps us prevent spam and automated abuse on the form.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — helps us understand Site traffic and usage in aggregate.
- Ahrefs Analytics — provides privacy-friendly, aggregate website analytics.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Character in Competition or others.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out add-on. The Cloudflare Turnstile check is used only to verify that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot.
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain our relationship, and as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to our providers' standard retention periods.
Your choices and rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted to us, or ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
